Katie Hate is a three piece band who plays a lot bigger then their numbers
would suggest. Their energy and stage presence are becoming legendary already
for such a young band. Katie Hate's music is a combination of musical influences that are mixed in a secret brew of notes, chords, knock out lyrics, and social satire. Their ability to tell a story and keep you moshing is a rarity. This places them in a Genre of their own, thus the term "Punkternative," is born!
MAX THEOFILIS

JAKE SALTZMAN
DRUMS
BOBBY FELLO
BASS & VOCALS
Max, as Katie Hate's singer, songwriter and lead guitarist, is the unruffled, musical leader of the band. His sardonic, sarcastic, and ironic lyrics set the mood, while his laid back manner compliments Bobby's off- the- wall stage presence. Max presents as a poet who takes you on a time machine ride, traveling to different eras of musical greatness through his words and guitar prose.
Jake, Katie Hate's drummer, plays with the intensity, power, and precision that is the back bone of the band's original sound. His adaptability to change mid song from "Hurculean power," to soft background percussion, creates the atmosphere Katie Hate sets out for; unpredictability!
Bobby is the band's 6 foot, 4 bassist who plays with a motor constantly running and his unique style of play as well as his showmanship, is a big factor in Katie Hate shows.
